Christmas...Dustin and I attempted to do the Resurection Trail.. a 38 mile 4 day trip. Bad weather made us turn around at Devils Pass. Dramatic weather, good peace, togetherness, and excersise...despite the unplanned epic.

Yes, we definately look happier here than we felt. We daydreamed about Hawaii next Christmas...

Swan Lake rest. We had mushers pass the cabin late on Christmas eve- shouting out "Merry Christmas" as they passed us. Magic.

We've just had Thanksgiving. Bev and Joel hosted a wonderful meal, with 24 adults and 8 kids sitting down. Very very special

I accompanied Joel and Fondel on a moose hunt at McHugh Creek. They did not get a moose the day I had off to help, but we had a great hike. The moose were up high, and winter had come..

Alaska Spring

It's now October and I am finally sitting down to update. Spring in Alaska was wonderful.. lots of time for friends and adventures...inbetween moving and preparing for Greenland

Alaska Spring 07

A group of us met down in Seward to help Caroline catch crows. Here we are baiting them in near the truck.

Shiway, Safine, Adrian, Dan and I did a ski trip into Dolly Varden cabin on the Kenai, it was really the first warm sun of the year.. a real holiday
